Jackie Robinson goes to the finals

This isn’t the first time Jackie Robinson West has gone to the Little League World Series. In fact, they have a long history of success. Bob Cook, who writes about youth sports, says a lot of it comes down to the deep community involvement, especially from fathers. Cook joins us to take a closer look at the team’s backstory and the long-time efforts of Little League and the Major Leagues to increase African American participation in America’s Pastime.
