After 15 years of leading the Chicago Sinfonietta, Jim Hirsch will be stepping down as the organization’s chief executive officer and executive director on July 1. Before that, he led the Chicago Theater and the Old Town School of Folk Music.
Hirsch stops by the Morning Shift to talk about what he’s learned during his time at the organization and what he hopes he’s leaving behind after 40 years of leadership in Chicago’s performing arts community.
