The Chicago Mob, known as The Outfit, may have been the most powerful crime organization in the history of the U.S. At their peak, they controlled, or made money from, a vast portfolio of businesses or government entities. So between Bobby Kennedy’s anti-mob crusades and JFK’s failure to oust Castro from Cuba, many have believed for years that enraged mafia dons had the motive and the means to kill the president. Investigative reporter and author Hillel Levin interviewed a number of players directly associated with that fateful day in November, 1963…and he’s convinced the Outfit was directly involved.
