Kansas City shootings raise questions of synagogue safety

Sunday afternoon, shots rang out a Jewish Community Center and a Jewish retirement facility in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park. Three people were killed. The suspect, a former Ku Klux Klan leader, is in custody. The gunman struck on the day before Passover, when Jews commemorate being freed from slavery and their Exodus from Egypt.
