Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot and killed on April 4, 1968, in Memphis. As news of his death spread to Chicago, riots broke out on the West Side. Longtime radio host Herb Kent took to the airwaves to calm rioters. Herb Kent takes us back to that day and details the temperature of the city then.
