Life On Mars

It takes Mars almost twice as long as Earth to travel around the sun, which means the Martian year is much longer. Days on the red planet are roughly forty minutes longer than a day here. If we eventually travel there, how will humans have to adapt to cope with the Martian calendar? How will life be different on Mars? Shane Johnson, astronomer at the Adler Planetarium, joins us to discuss what life would actually be like on Mars.(Flickr/Cyril-Rana!!)
