Lightfoot’s State Of City Address Draws Criticism From Some Aldermen

Leading up to State of the City address Thursday night, critics called on Mayor Lori Lightfoot to deliver on her campaign promises despite a budget deficit she's now pegged at $838 million.

One group of Lightfoot detractors were several progressive aldermen, including Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa of the 35th Ward.
