Two North Shore locations with deep literary ties are facing a new future. The Lake Forest estate that is cited as the inspiration for The Great Gatsby’s Daisy Buchanan, received approval to be a subdivision. And, the Waukegan library where author Ray Bradbury once read could be turned into a museum featuring memorabilia from the author.
