Local doctor returns from caring for World Cup players

Northwestern Medicine’s Dr. George Chiampas is back from Brazil where he served as the medical director for the U.S. Men’s National Team. The Cup has seen some big injuries, most notably Brazil superstar Neymar who was taken out with a fractured vertebra. Chiampas discusses some of the most common injuries in the sport, and gives us some background on the burning question-why is there so much flopping on the pitch? Photo: Flickr/seriouslysilly
