The most common portrayal of Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood is that of tragedy - filled with shootings, crime and poverty. One Englewood resident wants to paint a different picture of the neighborhood. Rashana Baldwin is the host of a new weekly segment on WKKC, Kennedy-King College’s radio station, called “What’s Good in Englewood.” Baldwin highlights the positive aspects of the area that often go unnoticed by journalists.
