The number of Roman Catholic nuns has declined every decade since the 1960s, according to Georgetown’s Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) at Georgetown University. There are now slightly less than 50,000 religious sisters in the United States. Sister Belinda of St. Scholastica Monastery joins us to talk about being a new sister and who’s still joining.
