Ogden International School caters to mostly affluent families from the Gold Coast and surrounding neighborhoods, while Jenner Academy of the Arts has historically served kids from public housing in Cabrini Green. Last night, the local school council from Ogden voted unanimously to allow the merger between the two schools, but the Chicago Board of Education will have the final say on the plan.
