Local students compete in August Wilson monologue contest

The 6th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition takes place Monday in New York City and three Chicago high school students will be competing for the top honor. Their monologues are chosen from one of ten plays in Wilson’s Century Cycle. Each of the ten plays are set in a different decade of the 20th Century. We hear the Chicago students’ monologues.
