There is a specific group of Illinois students who only have one option when deciding where to attend medical school. Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine is the only school in the state to admit students who classify as DREAMers. Those are undocumented immigrants who meet the required set of guidelines that qualify them for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA.
