The Republican candidates for Illinois governor have been getting all the attention as we approach the March 18 primary. But Thursday night, their running mates take center stage at a debate on WTTW’s Chicago Tonight. WBEZ’s Illinois politics reporter Tony Arnold watched the debate and fills us in on why this matters.
