In March, we set our clocks an hour ahead for Daylight Savings Time. We dye the Chicago River green for St. Patrick’s Day. And, for some of us, we fill out our brackets for March Madness. On Sunday, the NCAA selection committee revealed the men’s basketball match-ups ahead of the tournament, which starts Wednesday, March 14.

Predicting the outcome of the tournament’s games with our own brackets has become a tradition among college basketball fans. For more on March Madness, and her own predictions for the winners and upsets, Morning Shift talks to WBEZ sports contributor Cheryl Raye-Stout. We also hear from University of Illinois Prof. Sheldon Jacobson about the website Bracket Odds.
