Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s 2014 budget faces slight opposition, but still expected to pass

While the Mayor’s first budget passed unanimously, last year a few alderman stopped short of giving him full council approval; three to be exact. This year the eight-member progressive caucus has raised concerns with the budget, specifically redistribution of TIF funds, and calling for more cops.
