Meet The Man Behind Your Favorite Photos of Chicago

Today Chicagoans got to enjoy a sunny picturesque day in the city. You’ll probably see crowds of people on the street taking pictures of the city’s most photographed features: the skyline, Millennium Park, Buckingham Fountain and of course, the Bean.

That presents a challenge for landscape photographer Barry Butler: how to take a city as photographed as Chicago and capture something new. And somehow, every morning and every evening, he manages just that, with his daily photos of the city’s sunrise and sunset.

Barry Butler joins the Morning Shift in the studio to talk about how he captures Chicago through his camera.
