Metra launches a new set of reforms

In January, Metra named Don Orseno as the new CEO of the transit agency. His appointment came after a rough few months at the country’s second largest commuter rail agency. Orseno follows former CEO Alex Clifford, who received a hefty severance package that some board members alleged was “hush money” for not revealing patronage practices at the agency.
