Millennials get organized to get out the vote

They may not have much money, but what they lack in funds, they make up for in Facebook friends, Twitter followers and the ability to get out specific, targeted messages. Around 1,500 millennials gathered at the UIC forum over the weekend for the first ever NEXT GEN ILLINOIS conference. Dozens of young adult organizations and other community groups talked about how to get the message out to their peers and to make their message loud and clear to those they plan to elect.
