Morning Shift: July 30, 2015

What’s the future of the Black Lives Matter Movement? That question was explored at a convention last weekend in Cleveland. We hear from two people who attended the gathering. When is beer not really beer? Controversy is brewing over a new alcoholic version of root beer...and at least one Chicago beer store owner is refusing to sell the beverage. He joins us, along with one of the hosts of WBEZ’s beer podcast Strange Brews to share thoughts on the topic. Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me Host Peter Sagal also stops by to give us the lowdown on tonight’s Millennium Park show. And we’ve got the gypsy-jazz alt-folk sounds of Chicago’s Le Percolateur.
