Music director travels the world to find sounds for The Jungle Book

The music found in Goodman Theatre's stage adaptation of Disney’s The Jungle Book isn’t exactly the way you might remember it from the film. After a couple of trips to India, Music Director Doug Peck married these compositions with some traditional Indian dance and classical music, as well as some western influences. The result is something wholly new. Peck, and members of the group that brought this blend of music and culture to life for Goodman Theatre, discuss the process of bringing the sounds to the stage.
