It’s been more than a year and a half since legendary Chicago chef Charlie Trotter passed away. And while much has been written about the chef’s professional side, we still don’t know a lot about the private side of the man who put Chicago on the culinary map. A new, free exhibit at Chicago’s Water Tower City Gallery aims to change that with many personal mementos from Trotter’s life and career. His widow Rochelle Trotter was instrumental in gathering artifacts for the exhibit and she is here this morning to talk about the more personal side of Charlie Trotter. (Flickr/danxoneil)
