New film documents life of outsider artist

Artist Peter Anton is at a crossroads. His “outsider” art is getting attention as it exhibits in and around Chicago, but he’s also being forced to move away from his childhood home that served as both inspiration and a physical studio for his work. Filmmakers Aaron Wickenden and Dan Rybicky document Anton’s transition to a new home, and find themselves a part of the story along the way. We talk to Rybicky about Anton’s life, art and the community he calls home in Northwest Indiana.
