Playwright Lisa D’ Amour’s last turn on the Steppenwolf stage took on the dark crevices and decline of the Midwest in the Pulitzer Prize finalist Detroit. Now, she heads to the South. Airline Highway takes place in the Hummingbird Hotel along New Orleans’ famous strip. The characters meet to play their respects to a woman whose throwing her own funeral.
