Obama advisor meets with leaders to discuss challenges facing working families
Equal pay appears to be an issue President Obama is prioritizing. Earlier this month on Equal Pay Day, he signed two executive orders that could give working women more leverage when negotiating salary increases. But more pay is just one part of the equation for women working to get ahead. On Monday members of the administration, politicians and other leaders meet to discuss what problems exist for working families, and how policy could help shape success for American workers. One speaker will be the President's close - and key - advisor Valerie Jarrett. She details what she thinks needs to be done to put workers at the forefront.
