Last year former president, Barack Obama, tweeted after his farewell speech, “I’m asking you to believe. Not in my ability to make change, but in yours.” The theme of his past tweet was the focus of the Obama Foundation’s first two-day summit of the year on Chicago’s South Side.

The goal of the summit was to bring civic leaders from Chicago and all the world to form relationships, formulate plans, and sharpen skills with workshops, conversations and networking.
