The seemingly unending fight to reduce noise from jets flying into and out of O’Hare is entering a new phase with suburban towns set to hire a panel of experts to give them ideas for easing the noise, a Chicago mayoral candidate touting the Gary Airport as a solution help reduce noise, and three city wards getting jet noise monitors.
