Pension crisis affects CPS budget

Chicago Public Schools presented their budget to the Board of Education Wednesday. They point to the pension crisis in Springfield as a major contributor to the $1 billion shortfall, and said they would have to slash $1,000 per student, among other cuts, to fill the gap.
