Former White House photographer Pete Souza gained fame with his book Obama: An Intimate Portrait. But Souza wasn’t the only photographer following the Obamas. Amanda Lucidon-Michelle Obama Photog was Michelle Obama’s official photographer for her last 4 years as First Lady.

Her book, Chasing Light: Michelle Obama Through The Lens of a White House Photographer features 150 candid photos-many never seen before-of Mrs. Obama in her role as First Lady, wife, and mother.

An exhibition of some of Lucidon’s photographs is on display at the Harold Washington Library through March 3rd, and she joins Morning Shift to talk about her experiences ahead of a conversation at the library.
