Photographer Jennifer Greenburg travels back in time

To call it cut and paste is too simple. To use a term like “photobomb” is incorrect. In her latest series, Chicago photographer Jennifer Greenburg becomes a dancer, a debutante, a mom, even a corpse. It's about more than inserting herself into pictures, she’s inserted herself in the lives of other people. And she’s making us think about the way photography and memory, reality and nostalgia, work on our minds. Photo courtesy of Jennifer Greenburg
