Rideshare legislation passes Senate

It looks like popular, new ridesharing services in Illinois will be subject to new rules soon, now that the Illinois Senate has passed a couple of bills that would regulate companies like Uber, Lyft and Sidecar. But they didn’t pass the measures without making some of their own significant modifications first. WBEZ’s Odette Yousef updates us on what the changes are, and what happens next.
