Rideshare ordinance passes committee

Thursday popular ridesharing services appeared to win a small victory in Chicago. Those are technologies that help regular people use their cars for hire. The city’s Committee on License and Consumer Protection passed an amended ordinance that would regulate the illegal services. Ridesharing companies are pleased with the rules -- but the cab industry is anything but.
