A new report out today shows which CPS schools are getting the most arts education and which are getting the least. The city’s poorest and blackest neighborhoods are faring the worst… schools in majority African American neighborhoods in the city are essentially arts education deserts. But officials say the report is meant to serve as a baseline. The data was first collected two school years ago—the first year of the district’s arts education plan.
