After Tuesday’s mid-term, Republicans took control of the Senate which also means some changes to key committees. The future of transportation funding could change as leadership shifts. Here in Illinois, that’s funding needed to expand rail service. Earlier this month, Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari told us, “who you send to Washington decide how much rail service you’re going to have.” One of those people in Washington who can help shape this policy is Sen.
