Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa as well as communities right here in Illinois are dealing the after effects of flood waters that swept through the area in recent days. North of Chicago, parts of the Fox and Des Plaines rivers are under a flood warning, though the flooding there has not been severe. But further west and north, many Illinoisans are dealing with waist deep water, washed out roads, and worse, with some neighborhoods under a voluntary evacuation.
