Sheraton Hotel in Gary finally faces wrecking ball

Demolition is slated to begin in full force on the abandoned hotel in downtown Gary. The structure, which has been vacant for decades, has been framed by many as a symbol of the city's economic despair-the last gasp of a failed attempt at revitalization.
