Social barriers can restrict access to reproductive health

January 22 marks the 41st anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. The ruling declared that restrictions on abortion in Texas were unconstitutional and violated a woman's right to privacy. More than four decades after abortion has become legal, the issue is hardly settled. Dr. Willie Parker is someone at the forefront of the issue, providing abortions to women across the country. Dr. Parker explains what barriers women face when seeking abortion and how social class can affect access to medical treatment. (Photo: Flickr/honeybakedham2009)
