Starbucks adds a French touch to its breakfast menu
After fielding years of complaints about its mediocre food and seeing only one in seven people ordering food, Starbucks got serious about its food offerings. Tuesday it launched in Chicago and other select series its La Boulange selection of pastries that up the ante on quality. At the same time, Dunkin' Donuts decided to vary its morning game with an experimental Dunkin' Dog--a cheesy smokey sausage link in sweet bread--which comes on the heels of its doughnut breakfast sandwich. Will these new offerings lead you to fork over your morning dollar to Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks? What is your favorite breakfast sandwich in Chicago?
