Every Friday in the month of June, high school musicians from all over Chicagoland took to the stage in Highland Park to compete in an annual Battle of the Bands competition. The winners from each Friday night competition and one wild card will compete Thursday night before the town’s fireworks display. Two of this year’s performers join us, Tess Considine and the band “Trending Rex” made up of Zach Silver, Ingrid Reid and Claire Bryant.
