Studies find less involvement in organized religion
According to data collected by the Pew Research Center, the number of Americans that do not identify with any organized religion is on the rise. In addition, religious leaders around the world are noticing a drop in attendance at places of worship. Combine that with Pope Francis' recent critique of the mismanagement and branding of the modern Catholic Church and one may begin to paint a pretty grim picture for the faithful.
