Yesterday was the longest day of the year - the Summer Solstice - meaning summer officially kicked off 21 minutes before noon Chicago time. And what a perfect day as far as the weather was concerned - warm, sunny, humid with an occasional breeze. May was one of the wettest in a long time and so far in June we’ve gotten a good amount of rain and fluctuating temperatures.
