Tax Law’s Effect On Illinois Businesses And Workers
It’s been a little more than a month since President Trump signed the tax bill into law, and companies don’t have to comply with the new withholding rules until the middle of next month, so many workers still haven’t seen a change in their take home pay. But as the corporate tax rate drops from 35 to 21 percent, some banks and other businesses in our area are giving out bonuses and increasing wages.
