In 1996, radio producer and Radio Diaries founder Joe Richman gave a group of teenagers a recorder to document the confusion, turmoil, laughs and questions that come along with growing up. We re-visit them now to hear if they discovered the answers to some of those questions, and learn how their lives unfolded. Richman joins us to re-cap some of their stories, and participant Amanda Brand details life then and now. Richman and Brand will be in Chicago this weekend for the Third Coast International Filmless Festival at the Old School of Folk Music. (Photo: Flickr/nrkbeta)
