Gov. Rauner and lawmakers continue to squabble about the future of school funding in the state. Rauner says he’ll veto SB1 and send it back to the Senate for rewrites. He’ll also call lawmakers back to Springfield for a special session. Historically, schools get funding from the state by August 10 so a deadline is looming-a familiar concept for this Governor and legislature.
