Grilling season is here and scientists are increasingly worried about the compounds that form on grilled meats. Earlier this year Mt. Sinai researchers showed that eating a diet high in compounds that form on browned meats was associated with precursors to dementia and diabetes. So what are we to do about this? WBEZ producer Monica Eng and owner of the Butcher & Larder Rob Levitt join us with some tips to help reduce it.
