After the shooting of Laquan McDonald sparked outrage and prompted further investigation of CPD policies on excessive force, Mayor Rahm Emanuel said tasers could be an alternative to deadly forces. A  Chicago Tribune  investigation shows that alternative wasn’t necessarily best, with African Americans disproportionately being tasered by some officers who were using it excessively. Morning Shift host Tony Sarabia talks with reporter Dan Hinkel about the findings.
