Tuesday In Springfield: Women’s March And Abortion Bill

About 1,500 women from a variety of organizations descended on the Illinois state capitol on Tuesday to call attention to a number of legislative issues, including a controversial bill that would expand taxpayer-funded abortions. 

As marchers rallied outside, Democratic state legislators approved that bill, which puts pressure on Republican governor Bruce Rauner.
