It’s obvious: gun violence in Chicago is bad. While law enforcement and elected officials are struggling to figure out ways to combat gun-related crime, we’re wondering about those committing the crimes. DNAinfo reporter Mark Konkol recently filed a special two-part report titled “How Kids Get Caught In Chicago’s Deadly Gun Trap”. Konkol joins us to explain why and how juveniles get involved with guns and how prison can make the problem worse.
