A story posted online last week talked of a “global climate emergency” after one of the northern hemisphere’s jet streams crossed into the south. 

Turns out, that’s happened before. And it’s not really an emergency. 

But pretty interesting things are happening in the upper atmosphere these days and it could affect everything from how we experience the seasons to how we grow our food. Meteorologist Jon Davis predicts the weather for the energy and the agriculture industries, and joins us with a primer on the jet stream and why we should be watching it.
